Blessed Diamond Divas is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering youth and strengthening communities through mentorship, bullying prevention, leadership development, and acts of kindness. We believe every young person deserves the opportunity to reach their full potential. Through mentorship, community outreach, educational programs, and special events, we inspire confidence, promote positive character, and encourage compassionate leadership. From honoring Community Champions at our annual Triple Diamond Awards Gala to providing youth and family-centered programs, we are committed to creating lasting, positive change throughout our communities.
our story
Founded in 2013, Blessed Diamond Divas was established by Dr. Cynthia D. Hunter, an award-winning author, inspirational speaker, survivor advocate, and Founder of the national anti-bullying initiative featuring Tyson the Amazing Talking Dog. After overcoming domestic violence, Dr. Hunter transformed her pain into purpose. Inspired by her #1 bestselling memoir, Diary of a Crack Addict's Wife, she founded Blessed Diamond Divas to empower youth, strengthen families, and promote mentorship, bullying prevention, leadership, and kindness. Her courage and commitment to helping others have earned her honors from Congress, the U.S. Senate, the North Carolina General Assembly, and local civic leaders for her work in domestic violence awareness and community empowerment. Today, Dr. Hunter and Tyson travel to schools and communities sharing messages of kindness, respect, and anti-bullying while Blessed Diamond Divas continues to impact lives through youth programs, community outreach, and signature events like the Triple Diamond Awards Gala. Guided by the belief that "transparency creates transformation," the organization is committed to creating positive change one life, one family, and one community at a time.

Love & Kindness Movement Program

At the heart of our mission is the Love and Kindness Movement Program, a unique initiative that teaches children essential life and character-building skills through empathy, conflict resolution, creative arts, community service, and acts of kindness to promote positive behavior.

Our goal is to eradicate bullying by nurturing confidence, respect, and emotional intelligence helping each child understand the power of love and the impact of kindness.

Adding a touch of magic to our mission is our mascot, Tyson the Amazing Talking Dog, an inspiring and educational friend to children everywhere. Tyson teaches lessons on math, confidence, love, and kindness, carrying on the legacy of his late brother Sebastian, who appeared on America’s Got Talent and inspired a children’s book series on bullying prevention.
